Remote Wipe Portal
Use the Remote Wipe portal when your SecureLineOS device is lost, stolen, seized or at immediate risk of unauthorized access.
A remote wipe permanently erases the device and locally stored data when the request is received and processed by the device.
How Remote Wipe Works
Remote Wipe allows the device owner to permanently erase a SecureLineOS device if it is lost, stolen, seized or at risk of unauthorized access.
Two credentials are required
A Remote Wipe request is submitted through the SecureLineOS Remote Wipe Portal. The request requires both the device's Support ID and Wipe Token before it can be authorized.
Identifies the SecureLineOS device and is shown inside the SecureLine Support application.
Authorizes the wipe request and is available only to the device owner inside SecureLine Protect.
Where is the Wipe Token stored?
The Wipe Token is generated on the SecureLineOS device and stored locally. SecureLineOS does not store, retrieve or recover the Wipe Token, and SecureLineOS Support cannot view it.
Only the device owner can access the token. Store both the Support ID and Wipe Token securely in a location separate from the device.
What happens if the device is offline?
If the device is offline when the request is submitted, the Remote Wipe request remains securely queued.
As soon as the device reconnects to the internet, the pending Remote Wipe request is securely delivered and processed automatically.
What Happens After a Device Has Been Wiped?
A completed SecureLineOS wipe permanently removes the device's previous identity and erases locally stored data. Installed applications, files, application data and encryption keys are removed from the device.
A new activation is required
After the wipe, the device must be activated again with a new SecureLineOS Activation Code. Previous activation credentials cannot be reused.
New activations are available with a 3-month or 6-month SecureLineOS license period.
Request New ActivationBackup & Data Recovery
SecureLineOS does not provide cloud backup or a hidden recovery mechanism. SecureLineOS does not retain a copy of the data stored on your device.
SecureLineOS is designed so that data erased by a completed SecureLineOS wipe cannot be recovered.
The device owner is responsible for securely backing up any information that must be retained before a wipe is initiated.
Can SecureLineOS See My Device or Access My Data?
SecureLineOS is built around a privacy-first architecture. SecureLineOS cannot remotely access your device, control it or view the personal information stored on it.
The license system stores only the information required to manage the SecureLineOS license: the Support ID, the active 3-month or 6-month license period and its remaining validity.
The Wipe Token remains stored locally on the device. SecureLineOS never stores or retrieves it and cannot submit a Remote Wipe on the owner's behalf. Only someone with both the Support ID and Wipe Token can authorize the request.
Your data belongs to you — and only you.
