Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply when you access the SecureLineOS website, place an order or purchase, activate or use a SecureLineOS device, license, application or related service.
By completing a purchase or activating a SecureLineOS license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not purchase or activate the relevant product or service.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduced.
Orders and payments
Product descriptions, available models, included accessories, license periods, prices and delivery options are shown during the order process. You are responsible for reviewing this information before submitting an order.
- An order is subject to product availability and payment confirmation.
- SecureLineOS may contact you if information is incomplete, inconsistent or requires verification.
- An order may be declined or cancelled where payment cannot be confirmed, fraud is suspected, a pricing error is obvious or fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
- Prices and product availability may change before an order is accepted, but an accepted order will not be changed without your agreement except where required by law.
Payment may be processed by a bank, payment provider or other financial service. Their separate terms may also apply to the payment transaction.
Shipping and delivery
SecureLineOS may use different shipping providers depending on destination, availability and the selected delivery method. Any delivery estimate is an estimate unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
- You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.
- You are responsible for collecting or receiving the package according to the carrier's instructions.
- SecureLineOS is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, incorrect address information, extraordinary events or circumstances outside reasonable control.
- Risk of accidental loss passes to a consumer when the product is delivered to the consumer or a person designated by the consumer, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply to deliveries outside the relevant customs territory. Where such charges are not included at checkout, they are normally the customer's responsibility.
Returns, withdrawal and legal warranty
Consumers purchasing at a distance generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, calculated according to applicable law. To exercise this right, you must send a clear withdrawal notice before the deadline.
You may inspect a physical product as reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functionality. You may be responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
Return shipping costs are handled according to the information provided during the purchase process and applicable law. Products should be returned securely with the included components and accessories.
Where you expressly request immediate delivery or activation of digital content or a digital license and acknowledge the legal consequence, the statutory withdrawal right may be lost once performance begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Physical devices sold to consumers are covered by the mandatory legal conformity and complaint rights applicable to the purchase. In Denmark, consumer goods are generally covered by a two-year legal complaint period. These rights are separate from any voluntary commercial warranty.
A complaint does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized repair, liquid damage, external modification, normal wear or other circumstances for which SecureLineOS is not legally responsible.
SecureLineOS license
Certain SecureLineOS functions require an active license. A license is issued for the purchased period and is linked to the relevant SecureLineOS device or license record.
- The license is personal to the purchased device or license record and may not be resold, shared or transferred unless SecureLineOS expressly approves it.
- The license period begins according to the activation or issue information provided with the purchase.
- Renewal extends access for the selected period after payment and successful processing.
- Unless expressly stated during purchase, licenses do not renew automatically.
When a license expires, SecureLineOS may apply the access states and restrictions described for the product. This may include Restricted Mode, Mid-Lock or Hard-Lock after the applicable period. Core protection components may continue operating while access to applications, settings or other functions is limited.
License restrictions do not give SecureLineOS access to your photos, messages, notes, contacts, files, passwords, encryption keys or other private device content.
Device activation and Support ID
A SecureLineOS device may require network access and successful activation before normal use. Activation verifies that a valid license is associated with the device.
Each device is assigned a Support ID. The Support ID is used to locate the relevant license record when providing activation, renewal or support. It is not a password and does not provide access to private content stored on the device.
You must provide the correct Support ID when requesting a renewal or license change. SecureLineOS is not responsible for delays or incorrect activation caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
Software updates and service changes
SecureLineOS may provide security updates, system updates, application updates and other improvements. Updates may correct vulnerabilities, improve stability, add protections or modify existing functionality.
Features may be changed, replaced or removed where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance, technical maintenance or continued operation of the service.
You are responsible for allowing important updates to be installed and for maintaining reasonable access to power and network connectivity. Continued use of outdated software may reduce security, compatibility or support availability.
SecureLineOS Wipe
SecureLineOS includes security protections capable of permanently erasing user data. A wipe may be initiated remotely, manually or automatically by an enabled protection, including Remote Wipe, Panic Protection, brute-force protection, USB Protection or other configured wipe mechanisms.
- All user data stored on the device is permanently deleted.
- Local encryption material is destroyed.
- The device returns to a clean, unconfigured state.
- The process cannot be cancelled, reversed or recovered.
You are responsible for understanding and configuring enabled wipe protections. SecureLineOS does not keep a master key, recovery archive or cloud backup capable of restoring wiped private content.
Responsible and lawful use
You are responsible for the way the device, software and security protections are configured and used.
- Protect your PIN, passwords, activation information and Wipe Token.
- Review wipe settings before enabling them and select thresholds appropriate for your use.
- Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose, where doing so is compatible with your security requirements.
- Use SecureLineOS only for lawful purposes and in compliance with rules applicable where you use it.
- Do not attempt to abuse, disrupt, bypass or gain unauthorized access to SecureLineOS infrastructure, licensing or services.
- Contact Support promptly if you believe activation information or a Wipe Token has been exposed.
Availability and limitation of liability
SecureLineOS is designed to provide enhanced privacy and security, but no device, operating system, network or software can guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability or protection against every threat.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureLineOS is not responsible for loss resulting from:
- A wipe triggered by settings or protections configured or enabled on the device.
- Forgotten PINs, passwords, credentials, activation details or Wipe Tokens.
- Loss, theft, physical damage, unauthorized repair or modification of the device.
- Third-party applications, mobile networks, eSIM providers, carriers, payment services or delivery providers.
- Service interruption, network failure, incompatible applications or circumstances outside reasonable control.
- Failure to install available security updates or follow support instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer remedies or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
SecureLineOS intentionally limits the personal information it processes. Information connected to orders, licensing, activation, website operation and support is handled as described in the SecureLineOS Privacy Policy.
Read the Privacy PolicyChanges to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when SecureLineOS products, services, licensing, infrastructure or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Material changes affecting an active purchase or service may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate SecureLineOS channel. Changes do not reduce rights already granted under mandatory law.
